So here we are almost at the end of our stay in Prague, again another beautiful city, although my heart is still with Stockholm! Arrived in Vienna at 10pm and took the bus into the city centre station, Westbahnhoff and started our trek to the hostel! After a couple of minutes of trudging up the appropriate street we spotted a Wombats sign and cheered. Alas it was not to be, we had actually booked into the Wombat hostel further up the road. Well on arrival yesterday at Helsinki Vantaa airport, Helen and I were quite impressed with the newness of it and also the lack of passport checking! Got our bags, and off we went into the Finlandic wilderness, well not quite, but close! Find the bus to Helsinki city centre and board with our bags, almost falling over as we do so! On reaching the railway station we decide that Helsinki isn't quite as impressive as Stockholm, but we look on the bright side and car...

Finally we have arrived! Touched down at Stockholm Skavska Airport at 11.30 yesterday morning, and it has only just sunk in for both of us that we are actually here! Stockholm is an absolutly beautiful city, far more than we expected, not that we really knew what to expect, the size of the city is far larger than either of us anticipated, to see it all we had to resort to a boat trip around some of the islands, such a chore! So first year of University is over and its only 22 days until Helen and I go away, off gallavanting around Europe!! I can't believe it is actually happening, there have been a couple of hiccups in the planning and our dreams of Russia were put on hold but now we have our rail tickets and all the flights are booked all we need to do is pack and go!!
