So we left Seattle and were in the car for a treacherous thirty minutes. Our next stop wasn't to far down the road. We met up with my friend shaunna and stayed with her and her fam for a few days. When we got to Fife, we met Shaunna at the local High School that she teaches at and watched the end of wrestling practice. She is the coach of the girls team. After the mats cleared and the team hit the showers, Ashleigh and I decided to unleash some bottled up aggression in the ring. I tried to give her a good match, but after telling her that she should stick to doing her nails and baking things in her easy bake oven, she really took it to me. (see the pics)
While we waited for Shauna, we wandered into the gym to root for the Fife Ladies varsity basketball team. Go Trojans!!!! Of course I had to get a pic with the cheerleaders before the game.
Shauna decided to take us to a rock climbing gym after the game. This place was awesome. Ashleigh and I were naturals. (sort of) After some basic instruction we hit the walls and learned how much of a workout it is. We did some of the full wall climbs and also some bouldering. Bouldering was my favorite because it isn't that high so you don't strap in, and the climb is almost upside down. Ashleigh was better when she was strapped in because her hands would get really sweaty when she wasn't strapped in.
On the way out of the gym, Ashleigh bent over to pick up something and threw her back out. I felt really bad because she was in a lot of pain, but she also looked pretty funny walking like an old lady. She didn't stand up straight for three days. I tried not to make too much fun of her. The next day we took it easy and tried to get Ash's back better. We hung out with Sammy the dog and Valcor the three legged cat. She was in pretty bad shape, so we headed to the Chiropractor the next day. Apparently her bottom disc had deteriorated a bit and her bending over was the straw that broke the camels back (or in this case Ashleigh'(see the pics) so the doc set her straight and gave her some exercises to keep it strong. We went to see a movie then called it a night. The next morning we headed back to the Chiropractor to get one more alignment, then we hit the road and headed for Vancouver Washington.
Thanks so much Briggs family for letting stay at your place
