Its been awhile since we updated the blog and we apologize. This was our last hurrah in Southern California. We are so blessed. We were looking for a place to stay in Southern California and it worked out that a time share opened up for us in the town of Carlsbad. It was so nice to have some time in a place to ourselves and not worry about where we would sleep the next night. Not like we haven't seen each other in a while. Only every minute since we left. The caretaker of the Country Inn Bed and Breakfast sent us on our way to San Francisco through wine country in Anderson Valley. We thought that we had missed most of the wine country already, but were happy to be wrong. There were about twenty different wineries and vineyards along the way, and I still had to drive the mountain roads, so we decided to stop at only three different ones along the way for some free wine tastings. We left Ashley's house in Southern Washington. We didn't exactly have a plan for where to go next so we headed south. We drove back into Portland and checkout out the rose gardens and the gorgeous mountain views. We didn't make it to far that night, we drove a short ways and decided to call a rest stop home for the night.
