Hi guys,

Well I am now in Cusco, which is a beautiful little town. The flights from Ecuador were really good and surprisingly the food was nice, although I think that may be because of my lack of food and appetite for the last couple of weeks. Lan Peru were a really good company to fly with, although my bags were overweight! Bloody presents!!

Cusco is really nice I arrived on Monday and was taken to a really nice hotel thought my luck was in, however after returning from a day of exploring I found out I was in the wrong one and had to move, not as luxurious I have to say but closer to the main town and they have 24hrs of hot water, what a luxury! I had my first hot/warm shower in 8 weeks and it was bliss! Needless to say I was in there for a very long time and came out like a prune!!

Today I have been exploring the town, it is lovely with cobbles streets and brilliant arctiecture of the buildings and churches. I have booked a tour for tomorrow to see part of the valley and the inca ruins surrounding it. I was supposed to do the inca trail tomorrow but after talking to the reps and the tour guide it was decided that I would get the train up on Friday and join the group then to go to Machu Pichu. Its a bit disappointing but I have to think of my health, so far I have not been sick for 4 days! Yay! Oh and I have to say I have just had the most delicious steak sandwich with onions and peppers!! It is so good to be able to pick your own food! One observatin - chinese food, italian food and irish pubs get every where! Even up here!! Unbelieveable!!
