Day 9 Princetown to Melbourne

Today our group visit a rainforest and do the Otway Fly Tree Top Walk. This walkway is really high up so you can appreciate the height of the trees. It's a bit scary when the walkway starts to sway from side to side.

After lunch we go to a town called Lorne where the locals have wild koalas in the trees of their back gardens. We check out the famous Bells Beach, do some shopping in Torquay (not the one in England) and then head for Melbourne. It's strange being back in a city after three days in the isolated country. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the big towns and cities. I'm sad for this trip to end; at least some of the girls from the trip are staying with me in Melbourne. We book into a hostel in St Kilda Beach, which might be a bit optimistic seeming it's still cold and windy.
