New York to Berkhamsted So, this is our last blog entry. It is written one week after we landed at Heathrow and it has been a very odd week. An absolute joy to catch up with friends and family -fabulous to get Smith back, yet a dull ache at the fact that the trip has come to an end. We felt it would be out of sync not to add a little blog about our 10 days of complete and utter laziness at Palm Springs. As the photos will show, it was basically all pool, pool, pool. Our hotel was a typical resort hotel - a lazy river and some slides- fun for all the family!! Grand Canyon to Las Vegas Deciding to head for the less busy Grand Canyon north rim, our journey was accompanied by the rasping and screeching of 'bertha' the motor home as she valiantly climbs at a max of 45mph to the +8000ft elevation. LA to Lake Powell Exhausted and relieved to disembark a very turbulent plane journey from Tokyo (O slept all the way!) we head off to collect our motor home.
