We felt it would be out of sync not to add a little blog about our 10 days of complete and utter laziness at Palm Springs. As the photos will show, it was basically all pool, pool, pool. Our hotel was a typical resort hotel - a lazy river and some slides- fun for all the family!! Owen canvassed us for as many hours in the kids club as possible which sadly was not too many as most people kept their kids with them by the pool. Despite this he will still return home with a few 'kids club' souvenirs in the form of painted money boxes and the like! (nice bulky items to carry for the 1% of customers withouta car!)

Being here during the US and English world cup failures was fun - various blackberry updates hollered across the poolside, some hollering more pronounced owing to copious jars of margaritas by some 'inmates'. Mexico the following day got a very raucous following.

It was incredibly hot here - 112 by day, 84 at night. Spending one of these days in a water park for O used up acres of sunscreen and our decision to walk back from there (a mere 20 mins walk) had us practically crawling into the local supermarket screaming 'water water!)

That's all to say really - lazy days!....now off to New York.
