We were ready to leave about 8:15am, but did not end up leaving until well after 9am as that was when G&Y were ready. We had mornos at Sellick's Beach which was a very picturesque location and one at which we could have spent an entire morning just looking at the beach and sea. Our lunch stop was on top of a hill overlooking Cape Jarvis; another very speccy location. We then had to double back to Delamere to get to our eventual night time stop of Langhorne Creek; destination a free-camp called Frank Potts Reserve. About one km before we arrived, Greg spotted one of his favourite wineries - Bleasdale, and we just had to stop. Wendy was unaware they did Sav Blanc and was very pleased to taste it. She promptly declared she would like to purchase a couple of dozen, but at $20/bottle, the budget only permitted two bottles! Greg took a Shiraz away as well. We set up camp next to Y&G in the free camp, and did not have to unhitch. After an afternoon hot or cold drink, we took a walk into the quaint village of Langhorne Creek. A pub, general store, school, church, park and that was about it. A nice pear tree aswell. A 2.4km walk and we were back home. Whilst the girls prepared the dinner, the boys did some repairs on the Fischers's truck. Dinner was left over mince and veggies with spelt pasta, washed down with red and white wine. another great day on the road.
