8/09/11 Day 30. Paris Day 1, France So we woke this morning in Narbonne to a fine from the police on the windscreen for sleeping in the carpark ... Gutted again! How bad can our luck be? 7/09/11 Day 29. Port Aventura, Spain After an hour's sleep we were on the move. On the move to Port Aventura, the theme park just outside of Barcelona. Nick was the valiant one to chauffeur us as he didn't go out the night before he was alive and kicking (and still possessed his phone). We spent a day in the beaming sunshine on some great rides. 6/09/11 Day 28. Barcelona, Spain Headed into town for a wander. We saw the big cathedral or what I'd like to call it, a building site, it was a bit disappointing. We used Venice tactics and went for a wander down random streets in the town and ended up at a Tapas bar. We all ordered 2 plates each and shared between us. We ended up with sooo much food, so much in fact it didn't fit on the table! They had to bring it out plate by plate after we finished one. ...

5/09/2011 Day 27. Near Narbonne Set off this morning from our lay-by at half 8 again. We got to our new carpark at half 1. Only a 5 hour drive today, Nick kicked it off and I finished it. 4/09/2011 Day 26. Near Cannes So today we were faced with what the sat nav said would be a 12 hour drive! Gutted. We set off about 8.30 and I was behind the wheel, keep on trucking! We ended up arriving at the lay-by where we're staying tonight at about 5.35.
