Okay, this blog won't let me attach photos from my phone, so I will upload what I can on facebook! Also this is part 1 because it's only 230 pm so still got half a day left!
So after a very refreshing 12 hours sleep last night I got up and ready and went downstairs(staying on the 4th floor) for breakfast. Made some toast, grabbed some butter when I had the sudden realisation that VEGEMITE IS ONLY IN AUSTRALIA!! How do people eat there toast with out the loveliness of vegemite and butter melting on crunchy bread? So tomorrow I shall found a supermarket (which are harder to locate then I thought) and investigate their international section.
Today I went investigating. I found lots of shops. I got lost a few times but managed to find my way back as all roads lead to Rome, right?
So one thing I have noticed about Dublin, Ireland. There are many shops and by just putting the € next to a dollar amount makes everything seem incredibly expensive!! Like €25 is approximately $50. These shops seem very repetitive though. Like you can walk past a maccas and turn the corner and bam there is another one. The other thing is that people here are always in a rush. Like power walking and running is the norm to getting around. Also there is traffic lights at round abouts. Now I thought they really should get rid of one?
Went to a huuuge shopping mall and bought a pair of boots as my socks keep getting wet. Then went to go to st Stephens green which looked amazing, crossed the road and it started to bucket down with rain!
So now here I sit typing this. It's only a short blog not much to share on today. I love it here, it's beautiful and green and even the weather isn't too cold at the moment.
Any hoo time for a nanny nap. I am exhausted!
