Bula from Fiji. Have finished my tour of the Yasamas Islands and now back in Nadi. Had a really good time but the weather has been pretty poor, lots of cloud and rain and biting mosquitos. The first two days of the tour were good as the weather was sunny and hot, went to Sunrise Isalnd which was right next to the Blue Lagoon beach where they had filmed the Blue Lagoon with Brooke Shields. Very Idyillic. Went snorkling and went swimming in Caves which was cool. Then spent a night on the Wana Tiki cruise boat and did more snorkling and relaxing. Also had a Kava session on the boat which is a fijian custom to drink it. Had 10 bowls of it and by the end was very relaxed and a bit spaced out but was enjoyable. I slept very well that night. Then went to an Island called Kuata for two nights and went open sea reef snorkling and saw lots of reef sharks in the water which was cool but a bit frightening aswell. Also went Kayaking on the island and again alot of relaxing and a few beers....no jeagerbombs this time!! After that spent last night on Bounty Isalnd which was a bit posher than the others had good food and drink. The last day went on the sailing boat called the Seaspray and spent the day going to the Island where they filmed Castaway with Tom Hanks. Was very cool place and again did some more snorkling.(no sharks this time) Got back to Nadi on sunday night and have been staying at the Nadi Bay Hostel and have not done alot as the weather has been s***e!!! Have met some people here including an english gerl called Natasha who is really cool and her friend from Germany who i cant think of his name at the moment. Also met Martina who was on my your in New Zealand and should be seeing Diana who was also on the NZ tour but so far we do not know where she is. Am in Fiji until friday then fly to Honolulu for 4 nights so hoping the weather is better there. Will update you again in due course but at the moment i am on Fiji Time!!!
