Up early around 5.30! Start of the race was 7.50 but hardly any wind! Very busy but got off ok. We worked out if we hadn’t got past the needles by 11am we wouldn’t make it because of the tides. Luckily we got there by 10.30 so rejoiced with a couple bottles of prosecco. Lots of boats retired but we got round finished at 20.15 a long old day. Managed to Moore up next to Gareth boat by cowes yacht haven so not so far to walk to the pub! Had a few drinks and fish and chips. Met up with Carl. Had a late one back on the boat around 2am
