Up at 7 had a shower. Interview by the tv on the boat at 8am not much wind so our start time of 10.10 was postponed til 13.10. Had a mix of weather from hot sun to wind and rain. We had a good race and came in 8th out of 18 finished at 4.30pm few fins on the boat then I got the train home. Back just after 9pm great day with the crew talked about doing cowes week all of us next year

Got a train to Southampton then the red jet to cowes. It’s cowes week and I’m racing with the girls again on performance yachting. Up at 8 breakfast then got the boat ready to sail back to the hamble to take it back although we didn’t sail as no wind so motored across. Back at midday and Carl picked me up. Been a lovely weekend with the girls

Up early around 5.30! Start of the race was 7.50 but hardly any wind! Very busy but got off ok. We worked out if we hadn’t got past the needles by 11am we wouldn’t make it because of the tides. Luckily we got there by 10.30 so rejoiced with a couple bottles of prosecco. Lots of boats retired but we got round finished at 20.15 a long old day. Up at 7 had breakfast on the boat then set off for cowes. It’s a really hot sunny day with hardly any wind. Practiced a few tacks etc got the kite up. Moored up at cowes by 1pm had lunch then a little rest! Went ashore had a few drinks then attended a press conference. Jenn and Holly were interviewed on stage.
