Woke up early and got the bus to the marina. Sam met us there it’s his birthday. Had coffee and egg bacon sandwiches then boarded a 62ft catamaran. Sailed for 2 hours out to the barrier reef. The horse shoe reef off Port Douglas. Went snorkelling saw some amazing fish and corals. A lovely day out perfect weather so chilled. Had lunch on the boat and sailed back by 4pm
Quick shower back at the hotel then met sam for dinner at the water gAte restaurant. Lovely food and wine plus a bottle of fizz. Such a lovely way to spend the day with sam for his 23rd birthday
