Back to Samui for a few more days of sun... so of course a tropical storm decided to move in! And the west coast that was supposed to be in 'monsoon season' is basking in the sunshine! Returned to our lovely hotel and spent more time with the owner, a lovely guy called Jackson that catered to our ever need! Sooo novel!

Can't tell you too much about Samui as the rain hindered my exploring. The roads are not cut out for that much rain, so there is general sludgyness covering all surfaces. Didn't stop the motorbike users, who appeared to come out en mass - and drive twice as quick to 'avoid' the rain.

Flew back down to KL today, I was slightly preturbed by the lack of proper engines and the 2 large propellers stuck on the front. Add to that my knowledge that this plane had to detour 3 TIMES yesterday due to Koh Samui's bad weather and the 2 power cuts that the plane had on the runway... its safe to say I breathed a sigh or two of relief when we touched down!

All is well though and I am looking forward to Malay food again tonight! Rock and roll.
