Hi Everyone! We are currently in Jaisalmer, near the border of Pakistan. It is our favourite place in India so far. It has a amazing fort, built from sandstone with intricate carvings and amazing architecture. It is really impressive! For the last 3 days we have been on a Camel Safari into the Thar desert. Hi Everyone, Today we visited Jodhpur, the Blue City. It was a very good and busy day. We went around the huge fort which overlooks the city. It was really amazing - probably the best thing we have seen in India so far! Lots of history and some spectacular views over the city (lots of the houses here are painted blue - so it looks pretty crazy!) So far we have visited 4places in India: Delhi, Jipur, Pushkar and Udaipur (where we are writting this email from) The first stop was Delhi. We found this pretty tough going. Its not the nicest city we have ever visited. In fact its the worst. Amazingly dirty, unbelivable poverty, constant loud noise and so many touts trying to rip you off/get your money/chase you about! Hi Everyone, The first day of our trip and we are already on the computer! We arrived in Delhi today which is a bit of a culture shock, but we are slowly getting used to it! Tomorrow is our first full day here and we are going on a city tour. The next day see us moving to Jaipur and our first try at the india rail system!
