Hello from Bangkok!!! We have been here for one week now and have had an amazing time!! Bangkok is brilliant and a lot more like Hong Kong than Cairo..thank goodness!!! We have been so happy eating fresh fruit and Thai noodle soup everyday for next to nothing. We've done most of the sights...Wat Pho, Wat Phra Kaew, the Grand Palace, the Reclining buddha, and of course, the snake farm where I overcame my snake phobia and held one!!! We went to the amazing weekend market at Chatuchak Park but managed to resist the urge to shop..we will be back!! Anyway, Tonight we pick up our visas for Cambodia and Vietnam and then catch the over-night bus and ferry to Koh Tao or Turtle Island. There I will start my PADI scuba-diving course and Aki will do a re-fresher course so next week hopefully we'll be diving together! Anyway, love to everyone!!! Keep in touch!! Helen and Akixxx
