Hello from Hanoi, Vietnam!!! We have been here now for three weeks and have travelled from Ho Chi Minh city in the south to Hanoi in the north. We started with a three day trip through the Mekong Delta with a homestay and then have travelled by bus along the coast, stopping at the major cities along the way. We especially loved Hoi An with it's beautiful Old Town. Vietnam is such an interesting country... the beautiful World Heritage sites, it's war history, great shopping and cafes and wonderful food!!! We will spend one more week or so visiting Halong Bay and trekking in Sapa in the north. Then it's off to Laos!!! Thanks for all your messages!!!
