We went to Huonville today, visiting Fossil Cove at Blackmans Bay. What a great little experience that was. Lots of steps and a steep track down to the cove. A little picturesque cove with big mud stone cliffs and an archway washed through the stone, some fossils and lovely seaweed. We were lucky #1 it was low tide #2 I made it back to the car. (with a few rest stops I need to get a lot fitter!)
Then on to Cygnet a lovely little village with some interesting buildings. We had a very nice lunch there pulled pork roll.
We passed Gordon Recreation Reserve it looked to have a very nice free camping are by the water.
Huonville looked a very busy place we stopped and did some food shopping back at the caravan about 3pm for a rest, feeling a little weary so think we will have a rest day tomorrow, give Ted a rest from driving, then off to Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsular Saturday.
