Our last day in Launceston so off to the CBD to explore. Lovely old buildings. Another beautiful day sunny 26c.

Today we went to Ben Lomond a very surprising experience. So much rock and a very scary road. Ski resort up the top of Ben Lomond (very high mountain 1500 metres) would not like the experience of travelling the road , Jacobs Ladder, in the snow scary enough in good conditions! We drove up the Tamar Valley this afternoon.

We left Coles Bay for Launceston today stopping at Scottsdale for morningtea. Visited Low Head at George Town very pretty. After we set up at Big 4 Caravan Park we went and explored Cataract Gorge, very nice but not quiet as natural a setting as others we have seen. Lovely picnic area pool and walkways, floods through there quiet often.
