Hi Everyone! Sailing on our our second sea day. Since we sailed from Manhattan on Saturday, I'm counting today, my the 3rd sea day.
At this moment, we're sailing past the Bahamas, Cuba and Haiti and on towards Puerto Rico.
I'm having a relaxing time. The Norweigian Dawn is a smaller older ship. 1800 passengers and yes, that's a bit small.
Trying not to do too much and just relax.
We finally reached warm weather today. 82 degrees and we could comfortably open the balcony door and enjoy the ocean breeze.
Hope and I were pretty much dead heads today. We left the cabin about 1 P.M. to head up to grab some lunch. Erma and Rosalee stopped by and we chatted a bit and headed on over to The Bliss Lounge for bingo. Now this has to be the most I've ever payed for bingo. You get to play 3 games for $50. Each card has 6 boards on it and they give you a FREE board.
I didn't order anything to drink, just wasn't feeling alcohol today.
Hope and I then headed over to the Shore Excursion desk to inquire about renting snorkel equipment. No luck. I did contact our tour guide and he's going to provide and/or direct us to a rental spot on Curacao.
I was so tired and wanted to take a little siesta before dinner. We headed back to the cabin only to realize that we were late. Our cabin is forward and starboard side, so we had to trek all the way back to the aft to the dining room.
Dinner was nice. We all had plenty of old Postal tales. We laughed and had a good time.
As I'd hopped on the elevator, Hope, Sabrina and Tuwana headed on to some show. My brother and Clark headed somewhere and I headed back to the cabin. Halfway there, I realized the waiter did not give me my room key back. I was not walking all the way back to that dining room, so I stopped at the Purser's Office (I cannot for the life of me remember the new name of it), to get a new room key made, headed on to the cabin to relax for the night.
