Hey Everybody! Started my tour walking out of the cruise terminal. Walked all the way around to Via Roma (BIG SHOPPING STREET) and the batteries in my camera die on me. Had to walk all the way back to the ship. I hated this because my roommate was going to take a paid tour today, but it wasn't until later in the day, so you all know she wanted to tag along. And I gave her quick lessons on the use of her movie camera, but she actually wanted me to do the filming. Of course, I refused and told her, I had to take my own pictures. I think she was a little angry at that, but i'm on vacation just like she is. Anyway, we walked, shopped and took lots of pictures. We stopped by the famous Gay Odin Chocolates and I purchased a rum/chocolate cone. It was delicious and I purchased some jellies and a candy bar. After Marcella and I split up, I headed for the train station to take the train to Sorrento. I took lots of pictures of the Amalfi coastline. The coast is just breathtaking it's so beautiful. Hopped bcak on the train, back to the Circumvesuviana Train Station. Walkled about one thousand miles from the train station to the Hop-on Hop-off bus for a 2 and a half hour tour in Naples. This is also a beautiful city. Didn't have time to get to Pompei or Mount Vesuvius but I did take some pictures of Mt. Vesuvius at a distance.
