Hope and I are pretty b*****ed today.
We got up and headed down to the lobby to get some directions to the "Hop On Hop Off Bus" stop. The concierge directed us down Pitt street.
It was a good walk down and we stepped into a breakfast shoppe right across the street from the bus stop. I asked that my bacon be cooked hard, as the bacon we've had the past couple of days, including during the flight, seemed to be nearly raw. I also learned that a "large coffee" is ordered as a "long coffee." And oh my goodness, is the coffee strong. It's strong but has a good flavor.
Hope and I found a window seat, facing the walkway.
After our breakfast arrived, my trouble began. When I took a bit of bacon, I had a bingle. The edge of my front tooth broke. The only thing I could think of was pain during my trip and no one wants a toothache on vacation. After that I ate a bit gingerly, as I didn't really know how bad the break was. We people watched while we ate, as the street in front of the window, seemed to be a major throughfare from the train station across the street. Folks were even pulling and pushing luggage back and forth.
After breakfast, we headed out to begin our tour day. We waited a while for the bus to arrive and we boarded The Big Bus/Sydney Explorer.
We started on the Blue Line, the Bondi & Bay Tour. This tour begins at Central Station and stops at the following: Sydney Tower Eye. The street forms the border between the two suburbs of Woolloomooloo and Darlinghurst.
The Cross City Tunnel a tolled motorway, follows much of the route of William Street and extends further west to the Western Distributor. The tunnel was constructed in an attempt to ease traffic congestion for through traffic across the east-west of the CBD.
William Street is closed to vehicular traffic for the City2Surf road running fun run and race, held in August annually.

Headed back to Central Railway Station to hop on the Sydney Tour/Red Line bus. We hopped off at Darling Harbour, as Hope wanted to go to Wildlife Sydney. The Australian animal adventure in the heart of the City - WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo.
Step into an animal adventure as you journey around Australia. Walk through iconic Australian habitats and encounter some of the most loved, feared and unique animals.

This was pretty cool. After spending some time here, we had to scurry on out to catch the next bus over to the Sydney Tower.
While waiting for the bus, we talked with a woman who was visiting with her husband from Chile. They were aboard the Princess Ship that was docked in the Harbour.
After a while, the bus arrived and we headed on over to the Sydney Tower. We jumped off and walked over to the Tower. We did the tour there and bought a few souveniers. The place had quite a few folks visiting from all over the world. We also headed down to walk around the mall a bit.
We were tired and hungry and decided to head back over towards the Sydney Opera House to take a few photos before dark.
The cabbie dropped us off in front of the fountain located in front of an entryway to the harbor. We headed around and wandered into the Opera House Bar and Grill. Hope ordered bruschetta and I ordered fish and chips again. The fish and chips here, were far better than the dinner I had yesterday. The flavor was even better. I try to stick with what I know, because I don't do "RAW." We were talking about how expensive everything is and that I could not wait to get on the ship because of the cost of food. Everything is $30 or more.
After people watching (the pier was crammed with folks), we headed on around to the Opera House. We took tons of photos. On the side was a que, but we didn't know, what for." We walked a bit more and hailed a cabbie to take us back to the hotel, as the Hop on Hop off Bus had ceased operation a long time ago.
Our cabbie was a character. He started with our President and went on and on. He called him a "motherf***er" and talked about his trying to change the affordable health act. He said he even felt bad for the poor people.
I asked him about smoking, as I didn't see a lot of folks smoking and he said, "they can't afford it. Cigarettes are $30 a pack of 20." Just then I saw billows of smoke coming from the car next to us. He even went on to say that in Sydney, "no prescription was over $5." He was truly a character. I'm just amazed at how many folks have all eyes on America.
He asked if he could let us off at the corner and it was no problem, as we went on into the mall and picked up a few more things. I couldn't believe how large the bottles of bodywash and lotion were. The bodywash bottles were 1 litre and the lotion was 2 litres. Those size bottles would have to be for an entire family who used the same bottle. We walked on back through the courtyard and into the hotel. Both of us bushed from the long day's activities.
We did work on putting our luggage back together to board the ship tomorrow, but knew we had some time in the morning to get it together before the bus arrived.
