Hello all! It's been a while since we updated this so thought we'd post on here... We've been really settled in our little apartment with the other staff at Halse Lodge and have spent most of our days either working in the morning or evening, going to the beach, bodyboarding or lounging around doing pretty much nothing ;-) We have a dvd player in the apartment now so we've been watching films, and Luke has occasionally been watching the football at obscure hours...

Today we had the great pleasure of seeing one of those guys in our picture up there! He was resting on our fence outside the apartment we're staying in with the other members of staff who work here.A huntsman spider.Apparently he was only a baby, but the babies over here must be on steroids because it was still bigger than ANY spider i've seen back home!!!!! We didn't want him coming into the apartment so Luke,ever so bravely (or stupidly? I can't decide) mov...

There's a lesson to be learnt here kids...Don't ever prematurely assume.I assumed and it has now made an ass out of u and me. Australia Zoo is amazing!! We spent the day there today and got to see some amazing animals and creatures! We saw loads of crocodiles,alligators,reptiles,koalas,kangaroos,tazmanian devils,tigers,elephants and the new Africa section where there were Rhinos, giraffes, zebras.and a cheetah which we didn't see! lol.The Koalas were so cute and sleepy,just cwtching the trees and generally being lazy. So here we are in Noosa! Lovely Noosa! We're staying in a place called Halse Lodge which is a nice wooden...lodge, up a bit of a hill and surrounded by a lot of trees. It seems really nice here so far, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere... much better than Bundaberg! There's a nice mix of people here, older and younger which is a good change compared to all the youngsters we've had to put up with lately ;-)We're going to stay here around 3 days, maybe more if we c...
