The Gap TripAfter getting the taxi up from Allepy where we got off the train from Goa ....3 stops after we should have,,amazingly we found the hotel we were meeting up with the GAP tour ..the taxi driver couldn't get through on the phone number and there was only half an address..but we arrived, checked in just in time to go out to local dance show ..but we decided to give that a by as we were sooo knackered, and needed to strip and de-louse from the train journe...

OK so this is the previous entry ...Goa which i spent half an hour doing before then lost.....lets see what I can remember .....Oh yes beautiful beautiful Goa...just like a page from National Geographic at every turn ...coconut palms, beach waves, sunsets, cows with horns on beach sunbathing or strolling ..just like the local people and tourists...not many of them ratio of around 1 to 5 local to tourist...not Indians on holiday ..just local people going about the...

OK now it is the 7th and we are in Cochin Kerela ..the start of our 7 day GAP Adventures tour So glad we 'missed Mumbai'...although it would have been fantastic to experience ..the culture shock I know would be huge ...the taxi trip to the airport in the morning of the 2nd alone was amazing......baskets of fish being sold off the street , with dog helping itself, shanty slums on every street corner, babies being washed from a jug on the street and beautiful wom...

Pretending I'm in Goa....what a fantastic start to our trip...arrived there on the 2nd Dec. just perfect...after much anxiety...Bob flu delayed for a week ..which was great...more relaxing for me ...ha! and he was 'good to go' by the 30th, also had to buy a new computer, sort out problems with credit cards, arrived at the wrong hotel in Heathrow, lost my camera in Mumbai...but apart from that ...began to chill in Goa ...beautiful.....every turn was a shot from ...
