We had booked into a bungalow on a complex, as the offers were great. When we arrived on Koh Lanta our mini bus driver took us too a resort called Pavilion which was the wrong resort we told him time and time again Papillon. At last we crossed the boarder into Thailand woo hoo... Things were looking up. We had timed our arrival in krabi with the weekend so that we could make the most of the weekend market. The food was delicious, my first experience of pad Thai, the first of many. Krabi is a transiting point for the islands so we only stayed 2 nights in a very hot hostel with only a fan and no windows, it was a difficult couple of nights.

Hi all, I apologise now for the very small blog entry for George Town, we stopped here for a few days so that we could apply for our Thai visa. There wasn't much to do apart from walking around the town soaking up the atmosphere and watching the locals go about their daily business.
