Hi everyone,

Thursday we caught the greyhound to Bundaberg. The journey was short and during the day, a nice change to all the night buses we have been getting. Arrived in Bundaberg just before midday. Bit of a nightmare trying to find some accommodation but in the end we found somewhere for the night.

We walked to the rum distillery in the afternoon, and went on a gold vip tour around the factory. The smells were interesting! It was a very informative tour, but you had to like rum to appreciate the smells, Lyd wasn't so keen! To finish the tour you got 2 free drinks at the end which we enjoyed on the veranda.

By the time we got back to the hostel it was nearly dinner time. Found a bistro doing $10 meals for tea. Then afterward we went to see Tropic Thunder at the cinema, anything to get out the hostel. The film was ok but not as good as it should have been with its all star cast.

All had to sleep on the top of 3 bed bunks for the night, im sure they must be illegal!

Rainbow beach tomorrow and then Fraser Island, oh yeah.
