We managed to get the 8.00am bus back to KL We had booked accomodation at the same place we stayed with the tour, so we found it easily enough. The day was spent at the British High Commission. Hi everyone, We left KL at 9.00am minus the two Irish woman on our tour, they overslept!! Not suprising since they were out until 5.00am!! We had to contend with the walk to the bus station again! First off we put our luggage on the wrong coach, mild panic! We eventually got on the right bus and caught up with Team Ireland, only 5minutes late, pretty impressive! Hi everyone, Day 19 we did a tour of Kuala Lumpur. It started with a photo stop at the Sultan's Palace. We tried to get the guards to smile, no luck tho! Then we went to the National Monument. This commemorates the people who fought in 3 wars for Malaysia. It would have been more impressive if the fountains had been working, but they were undergoing cleaning! Hi Day 17 was another early start. We had to catch a public bus from Penang to the Cameron Highlands at 8am. The bus ride was a very long and windy one. Thank goodness the bus had air conditioning. The ride was split into two parts, the first part was 2.5 hours to Ipoh and then the second part was the windy 3 hour drive to Tanah Rata.
