Today we had to be up at 6.30am for breakfast at 7. It was absolutly poruing down!

We then headed off in our 4x4 at 8am (I think i forgot to mention that our 4x4 the petrol gauge and speedo did not work!)

We drove to the Siloli Desert where there is a stone tree - The desert has sets of rock formation as result of wind erosion - it was freezing here and actually snowing a bit! We then drove quite a while across different terrain and the snow was getting heavier! We had to drive through a mountain valley and we had to stop as a jeep from another tour had broken down in the valley! We got out and the ground was about an inch deep with snow!

We then moved onto Laguna Honda (by this point we were a bit bored of Lagunas!) We then drove to Laguna Chiarcota where we stopped for lunch (tuna, rice and salad) the sun began to make an apperance so jumpers were off!

Driving to our next destination we had to drive through a river that was quite deep (here crazy Belguim lady decided to do aome yoga while the 4x4 drivers dug a channel for the water - Joe helped!)

Last stop of the day was Laguna Canapa - another Laguna!! and some more cool rock formnation!

We arrived at our hostel (which was supposed to be not so basic - it did have showers but you had to go outside and they flooded!) It was more like somebodys house. Everyone had dinner - which apparently was llama and cold chips (I was in bed as i had a migraine - i think from the altitude but also not helped from sitting in the very back of the 4x4 and driving over very bumpy terrain!) The roof of our room was tin and it was pouring down all night. We have had all 4 seasons in one day today!
