Today we had to be up at 6.30am for breakfast at 7. It was absolutly poruing down! We then headed off in our 4x4 at 8am (I think i forgot to mention that our 4x4 the petrol gauge and speedo did not work!) We drove to the Siloli Desert where there is a stone tree - The desert has sets of rock formation as result of wind erosion - it was freezing here and actually snowing a bit! Day 1 We were collected by minibus from our hostel at 8am, driven to meet the rest of our group (16 in total + 3 drivers/guides in 3 4x4´s) then driven to the Chilean border to be stamped out of Chile. We then drove to the Bolivian border through the mountains (about an hour) once at the Bolivian border we were 14,435 feet above sea level and it was cold!
