We are at the end of our second week and we had a fantastic tour of Johannesburg on Satrurday. Jane (Jack's cousin) has been so generous and hospitable in taking us around to see the downtown area which is crowded and busy; cars everywhere and nobody minding any rules very much. It was also spot the whitey, as there were mostly black people with stalls on the street and buildings which had been deserted and then taken over by squatters.They are trying to clean it...

Hi everyone, This is the first installment of our 4 month trip around the world. This was written on 21st Feb 2010.
