After our 5.30am pick-up showed at 6.10, just made it to Panajachel in time for the 8.30 boat tour of Lago De Atitlan and 4 of the many villages that cling on to the base of the volcanoes that surround the lake. The view from on the lake was very beautiful, the villages themselves less so, but interesting to watch Guatemalan life go by. Did our bit for the guatemalan economy with some souvenir purchases from a lady who showed us how her loom worked, then trundled back to Antigua.
