Ok so its day 30 of our tour and we have just finished our 'bush camp' at the Okavango Delta which was good, but glad to be back around the pool now! We got a dug-out canoe up stream then set up camp by the river - heffalumps almost came into camp and we was woken up in the middle of the night by hippos - i thought this was cool until Dave reminded me they kill more people then lions! Hi! It's our first night in Zanzibar, and it is bloody lovely! We was due to spend a night in Stone town but decided to give the hustle & bustle a miss and go straight to the beach. No more tents for 3 nights!! Own toilet and shower & a beach to die for hammocks and all! A few of us are headig out for dinner in bit and the rest of the group are coming over tomorrow then we will leave for Malawi on Friday but planning to do nothing but relaxign till then...

Hello, Ok so have been on our tour a week now and aftera long drive and another stamp in our passports we have crossed over the border into Tanzania. We spent the last few days in the serengeti - was so close to a cheetah with its kill we could hear it crunching the bones!! We spent one nigt in the serengeti and had to eat in a cage which was wierd as also no light so had to eat using our head torches to see but at least it made it easier to ignore whatever ...

We are on day 3 of our tour (but day 5 of our holiday) Been great so far, on our last night in Nairobi and on route to Tanzania tomorrow. Masai Mara was great, saw four out of the Big five on our first day - had a mad driver who liked to do a bit of off roading in our mini van!!
