Hello,
Ok so have been on our tour a week now and aftera long drive and another stamp in our passports we have crossed over the border into Tanzania. We spent the last few days in the serengeti - was so close to a cheetah with its kill we could hear it crunching the bones!!
We spent one nigt in the serengeti and had to eat in a cage which was wierd as also no light so had to eat using our head torches to see but at least it made it easier to ignore whatever was lurking outside! The toilets etc are basic to say the least but i am being a brave girl.
The next day we went onto the Ngogoro Crater and spent the night on top before heading down into the next day. We was told not to leave food in our tents because of the roaming bush pigs (thought id left you at home Shel!!) we thougt they was joking until we was woken by a lion roaring the next morning!!
We are now back in Arusha and going to a Masai Villiage today (well i am, Dave's had enough of being sold things) so h's staying back at camp then we are heading the snake park later.
Everything is good other then that, we struggled with the tents a little but have now mastered that - i just need to get over the cooking part!! It was our turn to cook tonight, much to my dismay but i chopped tomatoes well!! ha
ok thats all for now, we are leaving for Da Es Laam after lunch which is a stopover before getting to Zanzibar on Tue - snorkelling, sunbathing & relaxing...cant wait!!
