Allen I set off to the park on a beautiful day with the sun coming down. We drove the convertible with music playing & it was a great drive.
When we got to the park we took a trail that was 5miles in total. The walk went along the Appalachian trail. At the half way point we had an amazing view out over the valley.
Just before we reached the turning point we encountered a bear. At this point I decided to read the handbook, about what to do when you encounter a bear. Perhaps I should have backed away first but it seemed prudent to read.
We did a short one mile walk straight up hill after this that also gave a great view.
Emily the opera singer cooked us a meal of salmon in the evening. Then I went out for a few drinks in the Downtown Mall area with one of Stephens friends called Pierce. The evening was fun as Pierce & I chatted about the history & future of the world. We both agreed that we would not have a robot in our home no matter how safe Honda said they were.
