For the third day in a row I got lost on my morning run. This time it took my over 30mins to find my way back. All that meant that I had a longer run & a good dose of sun. Another run began the day. The temperature once again was immense. I have decided to run at 11:30am to get as close to the mid day heat as I can. I did get slightly lost again ending up running alongside a major road for a mile. I watched the Wimbledon semi final, while I cooled off after my run. The day started off slowly in Newport, which allowed my to get in half an hour sunbathing in the garden. At around 13:00 we set off down the road to Gettsyburg. This is the home to one of the bloody and most decisive battles of the American Civil War. The battle took place 149 years ago, July 1st to July 4th. Perhaps one of the most relaxing days of the trip so far. Over breakfast I watched Andy Murray complete his rain delayed game. I then spent half an hour on Dale's cross trainer he has in the basement. The next five & half hours were spent sunbathing or floating in the pool. I made sure this time to use plenty of sun tan lotion. With temperatures up to 34 degrees this was needed. I went for dinner on the Penney farm, before heading back to Newport.
