When we got to the South Island we headed straight over to Nelson where we were staying for a couple of nights. We got there quite late so we just got pizzas in and had a chilled out night. Hey everyone!! I have now been in New Zealand for the past week and am having an amazing time. I met my group in Auckland and they are all really lovelly. We headed straight off to Rotorua where we were staying in one of the Maori Maraes. When we got there we had to go through their whole traditional way of welcoming people and had to sing the chief a song to show our solidarity as a group! Unfortunately we had another long driving day when we left Byron Bay. We were now really just heading down to Sydney which means the tour is coming to an end which is quite sad.
