Arrived In KL in the evening and got taxi's to China Town and our hotel, first impressions were very good. Had showers then we all went out for dinner. This was probably my favourite meal of the whole trip so far, we had the best duck ever!! with rice noodles and veg, we all shared and it was delicious.

 After dinner we went to a reggae bar which Marcelle had recomended, had a really good night. There was a man singing and playing the keyboard who was really good. He was suprised that Kat knew all the songs he sang so asked her to join him.  She wouldn't to start with but after a few vodkas decided to give it a go. Then Kent decided he wanted to sing so we turned it into a Karaoke bar instead. It was hilarious!!

 We decided that we didn't want to do the tour the following day as it went to some good places but others we werent  really interested in so made up our own tour well Katie the American girl did and we agreed!!! (didn't think me or Kat wld be that organised did you?)

Our 1st stop was to Lake Gardens which were quite pretty but it was soooooo hot we didn't stay for too long. We then went to Islamic art museum which was the most boring museum I have ever been in!!! We then went to Merdeka Square which was good to see after that we decided to go to Times Square shopping mall. It is amazing, massive, there were about 12 floors and hundreds of shops on each floor, I know a few people who could stay there for a week without seeing anything else!!!!

 There was also an amusement park on the top floor with rides and a rollercoaster that went over the shops it was really cool but as we had just eaten I decided to go round the shops instead!! We did however decide to go back in the evening to go bowling so went on the rides then.

We were supossed to be meeting Jim, Lucy, Anna and Cat at the towers at 6 so left the mall to go there. We planned to go up the Menari tower as there is supposed to be an amazing view but when we arrived, it was so hazy you couldn't see much at ground level let alone up high so we didn't go up but it was cool to see the tower anyway.

We went back to the hotel to shower as we were all sticky from the heat then went back to Times Square. Me, Kat, Owen, Matt, Rob and Kent went on this ride that spun you round, upside down first then we went on the rollercoster. It didn't go down too well with Kent, Kat and Matt so they didn't go on anything else.  We actually had a very close call with Kent he only just made it off the rollecoster in time to be sick!!!

 Me, Owen and Rob went on a couple more rides then went to meet Katie and Nina for bowling.  Bowling was fun, I was crap though.

KL is my one of my favourite places so far, had a really good day here, wish we were staying another night!
