Today we left Linari and headed for Ancona to take the Ferry across to Croatia. We drove to Perugia from Linari. Dad lived in Perugia 16 years ago. We went to Siena this morning. 60,000 people live here. Dad is surprised it is so small. It's built on a hill. Lily and I had Gelati again - vanilla and banana. Mum and Dad like to walk around these places but Lily and I get bored sometimes. Siena was nice. It had a big sloping Piazza and some big churches and lots of narrow streets. Today we went to a little town to eat our lunch there are only a few hundred people live there. Then we had to get in the car to drive to a different town there was a wine festival and we had a gelati, mine was strawberry flavour. Then we drove to a big castle we couldn't go in because there was a wedding happening.

Today we went for a walk we saw Christopher Columbus's house. Then we saw some art work in a mall. there were lots of different pantings, I liked the animal pantings. Then we went to eat lunch I had a chickpea gruel then we got in the car to drive to Linari 5 km from Siena. My sister and I watched 'Grease' on the way. We had a little trouble to find the hotel but we found it in the end. The hotel is in a really old building. It used to be where nuns lived.
