Bikaner is a dirty, quite industrial town in the middle of the desert. An odd choice to visit you might think, however it was from here we were able to do a camel safari into the desert. As we had to get a move on now we planned to stay only a day and a half in Jodhpur. There isn't a huge amount to do here apart from to visit the fort (yet another) and palace (yet another). Pushkar is a lovely little town on the edge of a small holy lake with many ghats where people come to pray and bathe (Though there didn't seem to be much of this going on).
