I am currently in Ko Phi Phi, and have had the most gorgeous day sunbathing on the beach. The beach here is fab and we are going to make a little trip over to the other Island to see Maya beach, which is where they filmed 'The Beach'. All is good - am sharing a big 5 bed room with Clare and Jen and an Ozzy guy Alex - so cheap!

Phi Phi is a fab place - there are no cars here at all, and the people are far more chilled out. You just wander around everywhere - eat at tiny restaurants with amazing food, and go to cool little hippy bars and talk to randoms! Love it!!

Went snorkeling and it was brillint - thought I would be terrified, but loved it. Maya Bay, where The Beach was filmed was the most beautiful place I have ever set eyes on - the sand was perfect and the water was like a bath. We have had the most gorgeous weather, and even I am getting a tan!! I know - and not just freckles coming out, but an actual tan!

We are having such an amazing time here that I just can't leave. Am meeting Ellie in Bangkok on Monday, so that will drag me away!

Celebrated Halloween last night - they do things in style here! Fire dancing, a million buckets, ultra-violet facepaints, dancing on the beach and swimming in the sea. There is a huge reggae band coming tonight, and then a festival on Sat.

Finally dragged myself away and spent a night on Krabi at a place called Au Nang. Its good that I wanted to go off on my own, but I actually really missed the girls. It is so much easier being with other people, but you just don't make as much effort to meet more. I am still glad I am on my own.
