Latest update- we landed early and spent some time in the airport buying new SIM cards since the ones we brought from home didn't work.... We picked up our Hertz rental car ( our favorite minivan) and somehow made our way to old town Zurich. So we managed to survive most of the flight after a VERY rough start through a storm and Aida almost losing her life on account of leaving her retainer on her dinner tray that she gave to the stewardess ( don't worry- she's not dead yet, we went through every tray in the garbage till we found it).
