Woke up tired as usual, finally finished laundry and geared up for rock climbing. Of course Olivia insisted she didn't want to go and ended up not wanting to leave. We drove to Blithe rock ( I think that's what it is called) and put on our gear. Ronnie and Aida went first and both got to the top. Emma started out frustrated but tried a few more times and made it to the top. I made it to a pathetic mid point and came down to which Ronnie said I was acting like I was almost 40 or something. Hannah went next and scrambled to the top. Aida tried out Ronnie's contraption next and we all cheered her on as she pulled her way to the top- I'm not looking forward to waking her up tomorrow morning! Emma couldn't let Aida have all the accolades so she too tried Ronnie's contraption and pulled her way to the top! Even Oli tried it and pulled herself up halfway! She would have kept going but it was getting late. Determined and persistent was the word of the hour. The instructors said we definitely didn't raise quitters! We came back to the hotel for a quick lunch and Ronnie Hannah and Aida went out again to downhill biking while Emma Oli and I stayed back to do homework and watch TV.
