Day 2 El Nido...arrival, love island and plenty of San Miguel!

We woke up in Manila bright and early to catch our flight to El Nido. This was a much better flight experience than The day before, we were given free snacks, smiley staff and arrived at the cutest airport we've ever landed at. It is literally a shack where they hold up your bags for you to collect.

When we arrived the heavens opened, so we couldn't do much exploring. So for the next two hours we did what any other self-respecting adults would do..caught up on love island and drank beer!

It took me a while to persuade Jonny that we should probably stop watching love island, and explore our surroundings, but when I finally tore him away the rain had stopped so it was perfect timing to wander down to the beach.

The streets really reminded us of Thailand and the beach has an amazing view filled with fishing boats. We had a lovely walk along the beach, apart from the presence of a dead rat and some dogs that were very sexually frustrated. After the walk it was time for more beer and food. Then we went back to the hotel for a nap, before we finished the day with a late night walk to find Jonny some pizza and a drink at a little rooftop bar, where we confirmed we would have to take Golan, as she would Jizz her pants with how bohemian it was!

All in all a good first day in El Nido, but we were both looking forward to island hopping tour tomorrow!
