Tough start this morning after night before and straight away heading south across France. Terrain hilly still with houses everywhere in the hills.
On way stopped at a township called Avignon which is an ancient settlement inside 5km of walls built in 14th century to house French Pope (different from Italian one) it has 12 towers and 8 entrances and included a church, palace, mint and township. Medieval effect.
Seen checketts look-alike very scary (but seen he wasn't wearing a hard rock cafe t-shirt on which checketts always wears so couldn't have been him - gutted no photo!!)
Very beautiful, cool place and great views so we would have liked to have stayed longer than an hour. After here started to get mountainous the closer we got to the coast.
We stopped again at an expensive perfumery and had a quick tour of plant, kind of interesting but not that exciting! Not as good as it could have been being a Sunday so no one was working so missed out on seeing the processes working. Got to test some of the perfumes by the time we left had a massive headache.
Also today seen plenty of old ruined castles in the hills, seen a nuclear power plant, and Lisa did a double bagger! Second only on the bus!! Lisa did the walk of shame to the rubbish bin.
Tonight was a quiet night at the campsite just the Australasian's having a few drinks at the local bar, for Lisa who was taking it easy first food meal she had all day, who had a couple of fizz drinks then hitting it hard onto the cocktails 'Pink Princess' was great!!!
