Hallquist's Sailing Adventures
We left out of Dauphin Island about 8:30. Neither of us slept well as the wind direction changed and kicked up the water. I kept thinking the noise I was hearing was a power boat coming near us. I finally figured out it was the boom singing from the wind. After I figured that out I slept fine, but was only 3 hours. We were only going a short distance today. We went to Wolf Bay and anchored out. Was a beautiful spot as the sunset in the picture shows. Once there, Mark went up the mast to repair our anchor light and steaming light. I hoisted him up with the spinnaker halyard.
