Song of the Day: Feeling Good - Michael Buble'
Mumisode of the Day: Mum has created a 'system' for the many, many loads of washing, and the apartment looks like a dry-cleaners/laundromat/charity shop. The bathroom is full of undies and socks hung on various lines and racks. Mum was up at the crack of dawn to put in yet another load.
Today has been a fantastic day. It was Remembrance Day 11/11/11 and we thought that we would attend the service at 11 am but sadly, we could not find it as we were misdirected by a sneaky shop-keeper yesterday. We conducted our own service on the ramparts overlooking the sea.
After a coffee and some free WiFi use, Amber and Gemma went exploring the streets and the shops. There are so many to choose from! Many, many purchases were made and many Euros were spent.
The group met up again for a fantastic lunch at the best Creperie so far. Caramelised banana was a highlight! Some more shopping - this time some artwork - and more walking on the ramparts, and the day was over. Time is just flying. You would think that by now it would start to drag on, but it continues as quickly as ever. David has decided that he now feels as though traveling is normal life. He has adapted nicely.
During our wanderings, we all on our own discovered the restaurant for tonight's dinner. It attracted the girls because of its rose velour chairs, David because of the bio-food and Dad because of the excellent reviews. It was a fantastic restaurant. We are being very spoilt for food here. For the first time we have tried a soup cappuccino.
Tomorrow we are seeing the famous Le Mont St Michel, and hopefully trying the equally famous omelettes!
