Lima city and New Years Eve. All people out on the streets, in the restaurants and bars, discoes. Otherwise very nice historical city center and kind and friendly police and people. Excelent sea food and peruvian cuisine. I can just recomend, go and see yourself. Tomorrow its time to say hasta luego to South America, leaving to Europe. It was nice trip but I am looking forward home so much...........

I survived the Inka trail!!! It was wonderful experience and I enjoy the hike from the first moment til the last. Island of Uros tribe are unique and amazing place. Uros built floating island on Titikaka lake from totora plant. The island have 2 m thick base and such island last for 10-15 years. After that they have to build a new one and move. It takes ca 1 year to build a new island. Each island is inhebited by 10-15 people, one family. They use totora to build their houses and boats as well. Approximately 2000 people live this way. We were on 2 of such islands, got a ride...

Our first day in Peru, Puno. Well, the town is not impressive, is double as big as Copacabana and smelly. But we came here to see the Floating islands of Uros indigenous people. That is a trip we are going to make tomorrow. I can call this day culinary. Reason is that there is not much to do in the town.
