Well, that 4 days went very quickly!! I did manage to frolic just once in the sea..much to the horror of my travelling buddies! We had some lovely walks onthe beach and tracks in the area known as "The Gardens". We left this lovely site this morning. The Bromleys fridge died and they ordered a new one which, amazingly, arrived yesterday in Evandale. It is just over 100kms to Evandale from St. Helens. The road goes thru St. Marys Pass, a very winding, narrow road over the mountain range. We were praying we wouldn't meet any of the logging trucks. The fittingof the new fridge went very smoothly and we have just had a walk around the village of Evandale. It is soooo English and very quaint. We will stay here for one night. Not playing cards or scrabble. I won for the third night in a row and Ithink they are a bit sick of it!!! I did try very hard not to be smiling smugly....apparently it didn't work. Tomorrow we are heading for Andy's Bakery where we will stay for 2 or 3 nights and eat our way thru the famous pies and cakes!!
