We had to slow down as Nick Lyndy and family were at Cooktown sheltering from bad weather on their way back from Lizard Island. We stopped at Herberton Historic Village. Weather cool and cloudy rain threatening. Next our Solar distribution panel decided to pack up. Next stop Atherton to get the system checked out found the fault but reccommended we go on Mareeba as there was a Solar shop there. Drove on to Mareeba and able to buy a new solar box. Pulled into the Mareeba showgrounds C/park and joined 400 other c/vans and Motorhomes.
